CEO: Tara Lynne
Tara earned a B.A. in History from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, gaining her first real world work experience as an Attractions Hostess, Quick Service Food & Beverage Hostess, and a Restaurant Guest Service Manager at Walt Disney World. Later she spent several years as a Travel Agent before becoming a Controller, handling accounting and Human Resources functions for a small business. She helped found Ice & Fire Con in September 2012 and currently organizes that convention. She has also planned dozens of themed travel experiences and parties as well as a themed charity pub crawl.
As CEO of Saga Event Planning, Tara keeps track of all accounting functions, brainstorms new events and themes, sets up and communicates with venues, puts together the official event schedules, and more.
COO: K-K Bracken
K-K grew up in the Washington, DC area, earned a B.A. in English from the Ohio State University, and has been in Columbus, Ohio ever since. She has experience working for an Ameriprise Financial Advisor and became an organizer for Ice & Fire Con in May 2016. She is working on her first novel and performs comedy.
K-K’s work with Saga Event Planning includes volunteer coordination, social media and advertising tasks, and brainstorming new convention activities.
Executive Assistant: Bekah Sammons
Bekah is a South Carolina native who attended Anderson University in Anderson, SC, receiving a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance and plenty of experience with Stage Management. She has been a Staff Writer and Editor for The Geekiary since 2015 and loves makeup and cosplay.
Bekah’s Executive Assistant duties are to keep track of the company’s meetings, help conduct research on new events and locations/venues, and editing certain Saga Event Planning posts and releases.
